The House Oversight Committee has published a collection of around 70 photos secured from the holdings of deceased adjudicated individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third disclosure from a cache of more than 95,000 photographs the body has secured from Epstein's holdings. It features photographs of excerpts from the novel Lolita scrawled across a woman's body, and redacted pictures of female international passports.

This disclosure occurs mere hours before the December 19th deadline for the DOJ to release all records connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These new photos raise more inquiries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its custody," stated the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Disclosed

A number of the photographs released on Thursday show Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a private plane; Bill Gates positioned beside a individual whose face is obscured; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the most recent wealthy, powerful figures to be pictured in Epstein's estate photographs published by the oversight panel - previously released pictures also include US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Being pictured in the photographs is is not considered indication of any misconduct, and many of the featured men have asserted they were never participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a statement accompanying the photograph publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate's representatives did not offer background information or dates for the pictures.

"Images were selected to provide the American people with transparency into a representative sample of the photos received from the holdings, and to offer understanding into Epstein's network and his exceptionally troubling actions," the announcement states.

The publication also includes multiple photos of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita penned in ink across different parts of a woman's body, like her torso, lower extremity, pelvis, and rear. Lolita tells the story of a young girl who was manipulated by a adult literature professor.

An example of a quote from the book written across a female's upper body says, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue traveling of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a series of photographs of female travel documents and official papers from countries globally, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the details on the IDs, like names and DOBs, is obscured but the House Oversight Committee said in a press release that the passports pertain to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".

An additional photograph shows Epstein positioned at a workstation in close proximity in the company of three individuals whose identities have been redacted - one individual has her palm on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and another individual is bending to look at a close-by computer. Epstein appears to be assisting the third individual put on a wristband.

Another photograph released is a capture of digital messages from an unidentified sender who says they have been supplied "several females" and are asking for "$1000 per female".

Image Disclosure Occurs Before DOJ Cut-off

The committee has many thousands of images in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "at once disturbing and mundane," its press release on this week explained.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York prison in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and files the Epstein estate submitted to the panel are distinct from what is commonly called "Epstein-related records". Those files are documents under the justice department's custody connected to its separate investigation into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which the President made law last month, the DOJ has until 19 December to publish its files. The extent of the contents included in the DOJ's documents is not publicly known, and it's expected that much of the content will be heavily censored, similar to the committee's documents
