The City of Angels witnessed citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy high.
“I’m already thinking about the third time we’re going to achieve this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the team emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and Ice Cube driving a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the field.

Festivities started prior to the procession, with supporters lighting fireworks in the roads of the city center on the previous evening.
The World Series MVP, named the MVP of the championship, commented plainly about the win.
