- The acquisition of Swedish defender Hanna Lundkvist on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

On the midfielder's new deal, a senior figure commented: “She has become a critical part to the way we play. Her understanding of the game and skill allows her and the team to dominate play from central areas.”
The new defender, having arrived from a club in the NWSL, said: “You can feel how much the club have progressed in the last few years, playing in one of the strongest leagues in the world and performing in the top European competition.”
